Health

GHIV Africa implements health interventions both in peacetime and during emergencies in conflict settings. Our diverse health projects encompass medical and health outreaches in rural communities and internally displaced persons (IDP) camps, focusing on sexual and reproductive health, family planning, HIV screening, testing, and treatment. Additionally, we conduct sensitization campaigns addressing disease outbreaks such as cholera, the COVID-19 pandemic, and others.

#
Education

Our educational endeavors span various initiatives, including school health programs for children, campaigns facilitating the return to school, teacher capacity building, the establishment and sustenance of temporary learning schools for internally displaced persons (IDPs), and the provision of teaching and learning materials for schools in both conflict and non-conflict zones. Additionally, we are dedicated to supporting children with disabilities in educational settings.

#
Nutrition

GHIV Africa actively engages in nutrition initiatives, encompassing programs for Infant and Young Child Feeding, Out-patient Therapeutic Programs, management of Severe and Moderate Acute Malnutrition, supplementary feeding initiatives, and awareness campaigns.

#
Livelihood & Early Recovery

GHIV Africa aids the most vulnerable groups in conflict settings through livelihood programs and skill acquisition training. Our initiatives cover a spectrum of skills, including soap and Vaseline making, tailoring, catering services, cap making, and business support for individuals in both IDP camps and host communities.

#
WASH

GHIV Africa's Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) projects span various initiatives, including the provision of water in schools, effective waste management in camps and communities, and awareness programs focused on hygiene and menstrual hygiene for adolescent school girls.
