  I joined GHIV Africa in June 2021 as a volunteer. I must say that it has been amazing working for this organization as I have within this short period I have development enormous skills and knowledge of Human Resource in the field of humanitarian.GHIV Africa conducive environment is great for acquiring training in the field of humanitarian. I must say that GHIV Africa is the right place to gain knowledge and skills if you want a career in the field of humanitarian especially for women.

  My first experience working for GHIV Africa was as a Volunteer in January 2020 as WASH Officer. The opportunity gave me the needed experience and skills in the field beyond measure. One unique thing with the organization is the exposure to different skills and knowledge in different areas of humanitarian intervention as evident in my being trained as an M&E where I grew to become the head of the unit. I have benefited from a lot of trainings and capacity building opportunities which has shaped my career in the humanitarian field. GHIV Africa is certainly a place to learn the ropes in the field of humanitarian and development.

I have been involved in field activities where I have gained practical field experiences.   I joined GHIV Africa in January 2022 as a Nutrition Officer through a transparent recruitment processes. Working with GHIV Africa has increase my capacity and skill to work in line with the principles of humanity, neutrality, impartiality, and independence, delivering life-saving assistance to those in need..Working with GHIV Africa has enabled me to learn and experience working with people of diverse cultures and background and increased my ability to adapt to different challenges and to handle complex situations in the field.

  I joined GHI V Africa in 2020 after the COVID-19 lock down period. A friend spoke to me about volunteering at GHIV Africa and I decided to give it a shot. Working with GHIV Africa has been educative and I gained vast knowledge in Gender Based Violence and Nutrition. This has helped me in getting activities done on the field in an orderly and timely manner. GHIV Africa capacity building program and working environment is amazing especially if you want to start as a humanitarian worker.
